Services explained

What everything means.

Every package, add-on and plan, explained in plain English. What it is, who it's for, what you get, and what to know before you buy. No tech talk required.

Packages

Pick one to start. Each one includes everything in the one before it.

Starter

$1,250

A professional website that makes your business look legit and gets people to call.

What it is

A custom-designed website with up to 5 pages, like Home, Services, About, Gallery and Contact. It's built from scratch for your business, not a template, and it works great on phones.

Good for

Businesses that need a real website for the first time, or need to replace one that looks outdated or broken.

What you get

  • Up to 5 custom pages
  • Works on phones, tablets and computers
  • A contact form that sends messages straight to your email
  • Tap-to-call and tap-to-text buttons
  • Search basics: every page gets a title and description so Google knows what it's about
  • Your domain and hosting set up for you
  • Two rounds of revisions

Good to know

  • You provide your business info, photos and logo. I'll help you with the wording.
  • Starter doesn't include town pages or Google Business Profile setup. Add them, or choose Local.

Local

$1,750

Everything in Starter, set up to show up when people in your area search on Google.

What it is

Starter plus the extra pieces that help local customers find you: pages for the towns you serve and your Google Business Profile set up correctly.

Good for

Businesses that work in their hometown and a few nearby towns. For example, a Bowling Green business that also serves Smiths Grove and Scottsville.

What you get

  • Everything in Starter, up to 8 pages
  • 3 town pages, like Bowling Green, Smiths Grove and Scottsville
  • Google Business Profile setup (the listing that shows up on Google Maps)
  • Behind-the-scenes info that helps Google read your business name, hours and location
  • Google Search Console connected, Google's free tool that shows how people find your site

Good to know

  • Results on Google take time and depend on competition, reviews and more. Nobody can honestly guarantee a ranking.

Regional

$2,450

Everything in Local, with pages for every town in your service area.

What it is

For businesses that drive 30 to 60 miles for work. You get a page for each town you want to show up in, each one written for that town.

Good for

Contractors, inspectors, lawn crews and other service businesses that cover a whole region, like all of South Central Kentucky.

What you get

  • Everything in Local
  • 12 town pages total (your 3 hometown pages plus 9 more)
  • Each town page written for that town, not copy-and-paste
  • Your service pages linked to your town pages so Google sees how they connect
  • Extra town pages $99 each

Good to know

  • Google penalizes websites full of near-identical town pages, so every page gets real, specific content. That's why they're written individually.

Pro

from $3,950

A website you can run part of your business from, with your own login.

What it is

Everything in Regional, plus a secure, private side of your website that only you (and your customers, if you want) can log into. It's like having your own custom app.

Good for

Businesses tired of juggling paper, spreadsheets and five different apps.

What you get

  • Everything in Regional
  • A secure owner dashboard with your own login
  • A client portal or lead tracker
  • Your own database for records, documents and photos
  • The Works included: your own books for expenses, income and profit and loss
  • Saves to your phone's home screen like an app

Good to know

  • Exact features and limits are written into your quote before any work starts.
  • Pro sites run on Pro Care ($79/mo) so your data is backed up every week.
  • Very large sites may need a paid database plan. If so, you'll know before you sign.

Add-ons

Add any of these to any package.

Google Business Profile setup

$150

Get your business showing on Google Maps with your hours, photos and reviews.

What it is

Your Google Business Profile is the box that pops up on Google and Google Maps when someone searches for your business or what you do nearby. It shows your phone number, hours, reviews, photos and a link to your website.

Good for

Any local business. For most service businesses it brings in more calls than the website itself.

What you get

  • Profile created or cleaned up
  • The right business categories and service area
  • Hours, photos, description and website link
  • Help getting through Google's verification

Good to know

  • Already included in Local, Regional and Pro.
  • Google controls verification. It sometimes asks for a short video showing your business, and I'll walk you through it.

Extra town pages

$99 each

A page for each extra town you want to show up in on Google.

What it is

A page about your service in a specific town, like "Roof Repair in Glasgow, KY." When someone in Glasgow searches for what you do, this page gives Google a reason to show your business.

Good for

Businesses that serve more towns than their package covers.

What you get

  • A page written for that town, with local details
  • Linked to your services and contact page
  • Added to your sitemap so Google finds it

Good to know

  • Each page is written individually. Copy-and-paste town pages can hurt you on Google.

Online booking hookup

$150

Let customers book an appointment on your website, any time of day.

What it is

I connect the scheduling tool you already use, like Calendly, Square Appointments or an industry tool, to your website, so customers can pick a time without calling you.

Good for

Inspectors, salons, service calls, consultations. Anyone who books appointments.

What you get

  • Booking built into your site, styled to match
  • "Book now" buttons where customers expect them
  • A test booking to make sure it all works

Good to know

  • The booking tool itself may have its own monthly fee. If you don't have one yet, I'll recommend one that fits your budget.

Custom animation

from $250

A signature moving touch that makes your site memorable.

What it is

Custom motion designed for your business. For example, a mower cutting stripes across a lawn company's homepage, or a drone flying across an inspector's site.

Good for

Businesses that want to stand out from every other site in their industry.

What you get

  • An animation designed around your business
  • Built to load fast and run smoothly
  • Automatically turns off for visitors who've set their phone to reduce motion

Good to know

  • Price depends on how detailed the animation is. You'll see it working before it goes live.

Instant quote calculator

from $350

Customers get a ballpark price on your site, and you get a lead.

What it is

A form where customers enter a few details, like lot size, square footage or number of rooms, and instantly see an estimated price. You set the rules and the pricing. When they like the number, they send it to you.

Good for

Lawn care, cleaning, inspections, pressure washing, painting. Any job you can roughly price from a few details.

What you get

  • A calculator built around your real pricing
  • Instant estimates customers can send to you as a lead
  • Easy price changes when your rates change

Good to know

  • Try the working lawn-care demo on the homepage to see how it feels.
  • Price depends on how complicated your pricing is.

Email sign-ups and automatic emails

from $350

Emails that go out on their own and bring customers back.

What it is

A sign-up form on your site plus emails that send themselves: a welcome email when someone signs up, seasonal reminders, and follow-ups after a job. You write them once and they keep working.

Good for

Businesses with repeat customers, like HVAC tune-ups, lawn care, pest control, inspections and detailing.

What you get

  • A sign-up form on your site
  • Welcome and reminder emails set up and scheduled
  • An unsubscribe link in every email, which the law requires

Good to know

  • Email-sending services are free at small volumes but can charge a small monthly fee as your list grows. You'll know before that happens.

Online card payments

from $450

Customers pay deposits and invoices by card, right on your site.

What it is

A secure way for customers to pay you online with a card, using Stripe, one of the largest payment companies. The money goes into your bank account.

Good for

Businesses that take deposits or want to stop chasing checks.

What you get

  • Pay buttons for deposits or invoices
  • Receipts emailed to your customer automatically
  • Card details handled by Stripe, never stored on your site

Good to know

  • Stripe charges a small fee per payment. It's listed on their website and comes out of each payment.
  • This is for deposits and invoices, not a full online store. Stores are quoted separately.

The Works

$950

Your own books, built right into your website.

What it is

A private part of your site where you track your business money: expenses, income, receipt photos and mileage. At the end of the year, you print a profit and loss report for your accountant.

Good for

Owner-operators and small crews who mainly need to track money in, money out, receipts and mileage.

What you get

  • Log expenses and income from your phone
  • Snap receipt photos and attach them
  • Mileage log for business driving
  • Profit and loss by month, quarter and year
  • Print or export for your accountant
  • Categories built around your business

Good to know

  • Included with Pro. Sites with The Works run on Pro Care ($79/mo) for weekly backups.
  • It doesn't connect to your bank, run payroll, file sales tax or do 1099s, and it isn't tax advice. If you need those, QuickBooks is likely the better fit, and I'll tell you so.

After launch

How changes and upkeep work once your site is live.

Pay per update

$99 each

No monthly bill. Pay only when you need a change.

What it is

Text or message me a change when you need one. I make it, and you pay for that update.

Good for

Businesses whose website rarely changes.

What you get

  • One update covers a single change of up to about 30 minutes of work
  • Examples: new photos, new prices, new hours, rewording a section

Good to know

  • Bigger changes, like a new page or feature, get quoted first.
  • If you need more than one change every couple of months, a Care plan usually costs less.

Care plan

$39/mo

Your website kept running and updated, without you thinking about it.

What it is

A monthly plan where I keep your site online, secure and up to date, plus a little time each month for changes.

Good for

Businesses that update their site now and then and don't want to think about it.

What you get

  • Hosting and your security certificate (the padlock in the address bar) kept running
  • Domain renewals handled, billed at cost
  • I watch for your site going down
  • Up to 30 minutes of updates each month (unused time doesn't roll over)
  • If your site goes down, I start on it within 1 business day; updates usually done within 2

Good to know

  • Cancel anytime. It ends at the close of the month you've paid for.

Pro Care

$79/mo

Everything in Care, plus backups and upkeep for logins and data.

What it is

The plan for sites with logins, customer data or The Works. On top of Care, I look after your database and back it up every week.

Good for

Required for Pro sites and sites with The Works.

What you get

  • Everything in Care
  • Your database and logins maintained
  • A weekly backup of your data and uploaded files, kept for 30 days
  • Up to one hour of updates each month

Good to know

  • Your data is yours. If you ever leave, it's exported to you.

Plain English

Website words, explained.

Domain
Your website's address, like yourbusiness.com. You pay a small yearly fee to keep it.
Hosting
The computer that stores your website and shows it to visitors. Most of my sites use a free tier, so there's no hosting bill.
Security certificate (SSL)
What puts the padlock in the address bar and keeps forms secure. Browsers warn visitors away from sites without one.
SEO
Search engine optimization: setting up your site so Google understands what you do and where, and shows you to the right people.
Town page
A page about your service in one specific town, so you can show up when people there search.
Google Business Profile
Your free listing on Google Search and Maps, with your hours, reviews and photos.
Login or portal
A private part of a website you get into with a password, like an owner dashboard or a client area.
Database
Where a website stores information, like customer records, bookings or your books.
Backup
A saved copy of your data so it can be restored if something goes wrong.
